Simon, a Headteacher, contacted me at the end of a particularly gruelling term. School staff were tired and the relentless pressure of changing guidance, teaching remotely and living in a pandemic had taken its toll.
Negativity and blame were prevalent, and staff were struggling to regulate their emotions under pressure.
My resilience webinar gave staff the space to reflect on their individual experience of living and working in a pandemic. By sharing some of the fundamental principles underpinning resilience, they were able to practice and develop ideas to help them manage their emotional health and boost their resilience.
