Jo’s executive coaching for senior leaders and their teams

Find space and time for your strategic thinking

Why executive coaching?

Finding the time for strategic thinking can be difficult. I work with senior leaders and their teams, responsible for delivering ambitious business plans, to help them engage in strategic thinking and higher level problem solving in a time efficient way. Read more about how senior leaders and their teams can benefit from executive coaching.

Just an hour every other month tailored to your needs can help you to:

  1. re-evaluate, consolidate and distil priorities
  2. scope opportunities and develop strategic plans
  3. move beyond your current frame of reference to explore alternative scenarios and opportunities
  4. pinpoint what might hold you back and how to overcome setbacks
  5. make positive change happen.

My executive coaching programmes offer a flexible and time-efficient professional development programme for you and your teams that can complement traditional professional development, such as training. In fact, coaching has been proven to improve the effectiveness of training by enabling people to apply their learning in practice.

Whatever your context or challenge, we will find the right approach that works best for you and for your team.

My executive coaching programmes give you time to re-evaluate, consolidate and distil priorities in a confidential space with someone with expertise from outside your organisation.

“Jo, I cannot tell you how useful this coaching programme has been for me. I have identified real benefits in my changed thought processes, tactics and strategy.”
John Murphie
Chief Operating Officer, ISBA
“Even as an experienced development professional, I was surprised how much I benefited – it gave me the opportunity to reflect, share challenges in a confidential discussion and find solutions that were not obvious. I was able to make positive changes both immediate and longer term.”
Caroline Long
Director of Development, St George’s Weybridge

Executive coaching facilitation for organisations

I work with senior leadership teams and Boards of Trustees to enable them to:

  • do their ‘big picture’ thinking
  • make their strategy more cohesive
  • align their goals
  • sharpen their focus
  • improve their impact.

Not only will my executive coaching help you move towards your immediate goals, it will also help build a stronger, more collaborative team and a more sustainable strategy for the long term.

“We could not have adhered to the strategic focus of the session without Jo’s skill as a moderator. Our comfort level as a group is with the operational, so to put that to one side and stay with the top-level thinking needs a strong hand on the steering wheel. Jo provided that in a focused and effective way.”
Sarah Butterworth
Trustee, Kirema Ltd

How my executive coaching works

My executive coaching focuses on the current situation and future possibilities. It takes your unique circumstances into account and works with your strengths to progress what matters most. My executive coaching programmes provide you with a trusted sounding board, helping you to:

  • create a meaningful vision
  • define what success looks like
  • reduce interference and distractions
  • identify what might get in the way of progress and how to overcome setbacks
  • promote confidence and resilience
  • make progress in the areas that matter most.

After an initial consultation about your specific objectives, I outline a programme and range of solutions for you to consider.

Together, we will explore your challenges and opportunities, so that you can create a plan to move ahead. I won’t transform your approach– you will.

My executive coaching programmes

My executive coaching programmes are for senior leaders and their teams and take place either:

  • quarterly across the year to facilitate experiential development
  • ad hoc to provide immediate support in response to a specific need (for example, to prepare for an important presentation or problem solve a complex crisis).

Coaching meetings usually last between 45 minutes and 90 minutes and can take place in person or via a virtual meeting platform.

My commitment to you

  • I tailor-make your programme so that it works for you and/or your team
  • your development needs and goals are at the core of the programme
  • my approach is solutions focused and based on positive psychology.

The price of executive coaching varies depending on the requirements and nature of the work we will do together. I discuss this with you and include a range of options so that you can decide what is right for you.

“Our coaching meeting has reset my mindset - I feel re-energised and re-focused and can see the 'wood for the trees' once again. I've already been putting the new approach we discussed into action - it never fails to amaze me the difference just one session of coaching can have!"
